Custom Verification & Compliance Software
Need more than an off-the-shelf workflow? UMNIII Labs designs and builds tailored verification, onboarding and compliance systems around your business processes and your existing technology.
The problem
Verification work rarely breaks down because nobody knows the rules. It breaks down because the process lives across email threads, spreadsheets and shared drives, where nothing gets chased on its own, nothing expires on schedule, and working out who approved what takes an afternoon.
A standard platform solves a standard version of that problem, and for many organisations that is exactly the right answer. It stops fitting when the organisation runs several entities, approves things in its own order, scores risk against its own rules, or needs the result to land inside an ERP that was configured years ago.
What we build
UMNIII Labs builds the software and automation businesses need to implement verification and compliance workflows. We are software engineers: we do not provide legal, tax or compliance advice, and we do not make regulated decisions on anyone’s behalf. We build the systems your team uses to make those decisions, run them consistently and evidence them afterwards.
- KYC and KYB onboarding portals
- Business and supplier verification platforms
- AML workflow tooling
- Configurable onboarding journeys
- Document and evidence collection
- Risk-assessment workflows
- Internal approval processes
- Recurring and reverification workflows
- Audit trails and case histories
- Operational dashboards
- White-labelled customer and supplier portals
- API-based identity and company verification
- CRM, ERP, finance and procurement integration
- Multi-entity and multi-company workflows
- Custom automation
- Bespoke reporting
KYC, KYB and AML workflows
Most organisations already know the checks they need to run. What they lack is somewhere for those checks to live that is not a mailbox. We build the workflow layer around them, using the verification providers you already have contracts with or integrating new ones through their APIs.
- Identity and entity checks wired into your own intake steps
- Screening results routed to the reviewer who should see them
- Escalation paths that match how your team actually escalates
- Evidence captured against the record it belongs to, not an inbox
- Every decision recorded with who made it, when, and on what basis
Supplier and business verification
Supplier verification is rarely a one-off. Details change, documents expire, and a supplier verified two years ago is not a supplier verified today. We build systems that verify a supplier once and then keep that record current, with the reverification, evidence collection and chasing running on a schedule instead of on somebody’s memory.
There is a timely example of this in the UAE. Federal Tax Authority Decision No. 13 of 2026 takes effect on 1 October 2026 and introduces supplier and supply verification requirements relevant to certain input VAT deduction processes. UMNIII Verify includes a configurable UAE supplier-verification workflow for organisations that want a ready-made solution.
Organisations with more involved requirements can engage UMNIII Labs to build around their own process instead: verification driven from inside the procurement system rather than alongside it, evidence written back to the ERP, several subsidiaries running different rules, approval chains that match the delegations actually in place, internal dashboards and company-specific reporting, and a migration path off the spreadsheets the process runs on today.
We build systems that support your verification workflow and help you operationalise verification requirements. We do not provide tax advice and we do not certify that an organisation meets a regulatory obligation. How any rule applies to your business is a question for your own advisers.
Custom onboarding portals
The onboarding portal is the part of a compliance process your customers and suppliers actually see, so it is usually the part worth building properly. We build journeys that ask for what is relevant to that entity type, show people what is still outstanding, save progress, and hand your team a complete record rather than a folder of attachments.
Integrations
A verification system that nothing else can read creates a second place to look. We connect to the systems the business already runs on so that verification status, evidence and approvals appear where the work happens.
- ERP systems
- CRM platforms
- Finance and accounting software
- Procurement systems
- Identity and company verification providers
- Document storage and e-signature
- Internal databases and reporting warehouses
- Legacy and in-house systems with an API
Automation, approvals and reverification
Automation is where most of the time is recovered. The value is not in replacing judgement, it is in removing everything around the judgement: the chasing, the reminders, the routing and the copying between systems.
- Approval chains that follow your real delegations, not a generic hierarchy
- Risk scoring against your own rules rather than a fixed model
- Reverification on a schedule, with the chasing handled by the system
- Expiry and renewal reminders for documents and certificates
- Exception handling that surfaces the cases a person needs to look at
White-label and custom interfaces
Customer-facing and supplier-facing portals are built under your brand, on your domain, so the people you onboard are not handed off to something that looks like a different company halfway through. Internal interfaces are built around the way your team works rather than around a product’s default screens.
Does any of this sound familiar?
- “We need supplier verification integrated into SAP.”
- “We need a branded KYC and KYB portal for our clients.”
- “We have our own approval process and our own risk rules.”
- “We need verification data pushed into our CRM.”
- “We operate several companies, each with different onboarding requirements.”
- “We currently manage all of this through email, spreadsheets and shared drives.”
Each of those is a point where a configurable product reaches its limit and a tailored build starts to make sense.
Who this is for
We work with financial and professional services, accounting and tax firms, corporate service providers, insurance, real estate, recruitment, marketplaces and B2B platforms, and with procurement and finance teams managing large supplier or customer bases. The common factor is not the industry. It is having verification requirements that are specific enough that a standard workflow has to be worked around.
How projects work
Discovery first, always. We would rather understand the process you actually run than build against the one described in a document.
- Discovery: we learn the process you actually run, and the systems it has to sit inside
- Scope: the deliverables, the sequence, and what is explicitly not included
- Design: the workflows, the screens and the data model
- Build: delivered in working increments you can see and react to
- Integrate: connected to your ERP, CRM, finance, procurement and verification providers
- Test: against your real cases, including the awkward ones
- Launch: with handover, documentation and a support route
Fixed-scope projects
For well-defined projects, we can agree the scope, the delivery plan and a fixed project price upfront. Following discovery we define the agreed deliverables, the timeline and the project cost before development begins.
Fixed pricing depends on an agreed scope. Where requirements are still being worked out, or where they depend on a third-party system we have not yet seen, we will say so and propose a discovery phase first rather than quote a number that would have to be revisited later.
Need a ready-to-use solution?
For standard and configurable verification workflows, explore UMNIII Verify. If your requirements involve deeper integrations, custom business rules, bespoke portals or internal processes specific to your organisation, UMNIII Labs can build around them.
The two are a progression rather than a choice: a standard platform, then a configured workflow, then a bespoke solution at the point where configuration runs out. Plenty of organisations never need the third step, and we will say so.
